When you first start to think about what you want to happen to your property after you pass away it is very easy to get confused. In estate planning there are so many different options and legal instruments that to lay people it often seems like the only choice is to throw up their hands and forget about it. Estate planning methods often seem like this, that, and the other thing.
Of course, if there were only three ways to make your estate plan, it would be easy.

Estate planning is complicated because everyone needs different things from their individual estate plans. The different tools developed to meet different needs. Sure, some people will tell you that one particular tool is the best one for everyone. Of course, that’s not true. If it were, that would be the only estate planning method around.

Despite all of the estate planning instruments and methods, planning your estate does not have to be complicated for you. In fact, you can make it very simple and easy. All you have to do is schedule an appointment with an estate planning attorney. Talk to the attorney about what you have and what you want to do with it. Let the attorney sort through the complications to figure out the best way to get done what you want done. It’s that easy.
