Trademark Registration in Mexico and the Madrid Protocol

Mexico is about to be part of the Madrid Protocol, however there are different sectors do not agree with the incorporation of Mexico within this international treaty.

Many lawyers are considering that this scheme will stop the use of professional trademark attorneys in this jurisdiction.

The effect that the Madrid Protocol will have within the Mexican Territory can certainly affect many interests, however, in the long run will permit save time and money to all the trademark owners.

At a later stage, the need of trademark attorneys to provide legal and professional protection to the IP Property will eventually be needed.
