Bratschi Emch & Partners philosophy is law and creativity, tradition and innovation.

For us, these notions are inseparably linked with one another. Standard solutions on their own are not enough to solve many problems - often, the best quality solution can only be found by using creativity in combination with a broader-based, future-oriented approach. This is why we regard creative and innovative thinking as the ideal complement to our professional expertise.

A competent, results-oriented approach.

Bratschi Emch & Partners was established in 1976, since when it has grown to become one of the larger law firms in Switzerland, with offices in Zurich and Berne. Our growing team counts presently more than 50 staff with academic degrees in law (some of which with additional academic degrees, such as pharmaceutical, chemistry, tax experts, etc.)

The advice we offer is always focussed on the situation in its entirety. We know that we can only offer good solutions if we understand our clients, their dynamic environment and the changes which affect it, and if we actively keep up with developments and incorporate them into our thinking. In our view, integrated advice also includes the solution of problems which go beyond the strictly legal aspects. We maintain close relationships with partner firms in areas such as fiduciary services, chartered accountancy, construction planning and project development, and consulting services for public bodies. In matters with an international dimension, we call on the assistance of selected correspondent law firms abroad. Our successful relations with some of these date back many years. Our working languages are German, English, French, Italian and Spanish.

Mutual reliance and availability.

We view ourselves as liberal, independent advisers. We do not just offer you any solution - but the best one for your specific case. We also advise you on potential risks and difficulties, always looking beyond current events taking into account future developments and possible consequences. Availability is particularly important in our profession. We have organised ourselves so that your lawyer (or another informed and competent partner) will always be available for you. We aim for long-term relationships based on mutual reliance. For this reason, we also think it is particularly important to ensure the correct cost-to-benefit ratio.
