Custody is based on the best interest of the child or children. Our attorneys argue your case so that the judge is clearly shown that you are the best parent. Judges do not live with the parties and have no idea as to who is the best parent; we must demonstrate that you are the best parent. We know how to present your case and admit evidence to court, proving that custody should be with you.
- Support
Whether there is a home, retirement benefits, vehicles, unusual debts, or undisclosed business income, our attorneys can discuss the ramifications of your finances and how to best deal with support issues. We provide you with our experience and our advice as to child support. We fully understand the laws and options governing child support. Options available to you include opting out, which means that a party may be forced to pay more than the usual amount of child support in certain cases and/or the parties may agree to accept far less than the usual child support in some cases. In some instances no child support is paid.
- Parental Alienation
Our family law attorneys are familiar with these tactics and their devastating psychological impact on children. We will fight, often in court, using every means possible, including expert testimony from psychologists, to ensure that one parent’s attempts at alienation do not destroy parental relationships or impact custody and visitation disputes.
- Mothers' Rights
Our firm has won custody for mothers in high profile, tough cases against the recommendations of the law guardian and psychologists. When Bryan Salamone & Associates, P.C. started handling mother’s rights cases, we assumed the mother would obtain custody or retain custody in any given case, unless the mother had certain issues, such as: Drug addictions; Mental impairment; A history of poor parenting; and, An otherwise negative history of parenting.
-Fathers' Rights
Since this firm began, fathers rights have increased dramatically. Bryan L. Salamone & Associates, P.C. has handled trials in which he has won custody for fathers against all odds: Bryan L. Salamone has won numerous custody trials in which the law guardian has advised the judge that custody should be with the mother; He has won custody in cases when the forensic psychologist has said to the judge (in the form of expert testimony) that the mother was a more appropriate custodial guardian; In fact, Bryan L. Salamone & Associates, P.C. has prevailed in trials in which both the forensic and the law guardian stated to the judge that the mother was more appropriate for custody.
