The law firm was established in 2003 by Dr. Artur Bunk, a German Attorney at Law. He qualified in 1995 and was admitted to the Frankfurt Bar in 1997 after obtaining an LL.D. in European Law at the University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder). During his career he has worked with the former German law firm Pünder, Volhard, Weber & Axster (now Clifford Chance), been Head of Office for Rödl & Partner in Poland as well as Senior Legal Counsel in the Legal and Restructuring Department of KfW. Aside from German, he speaks fluent English and Polish.

Since 2003 the firm has grown consistently. Thanks to the professional experience and background of our Principal and Attorneys, we are in a position to meet the high requirements and expectations of international clients. The decisive focus on international clients, which forms an integral part of our business philosophy, enabled us to establish a profound base of expertise in international matters unmatched by law offices of comparable size and background. Taking advantage of our network of external consultants (auditors, tax advisors) we are therefore adequately equipped to perform advisory services usually only found in law offices with a much larger structure. However, the advantages of smaller law offices, such as comparatively low overheads and flexibility enable us to provide our services on a competitive basis. In addition, using our services our clients can be ensured to receive the highest degree of focus and attention.
We are currently serving our clients from our offices in Worms (near Frankfurt/Main) and Berlin.

bunk-alliance has established a firm and tested extensive cooperation with law offices in Belgium, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, the UK, India, South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, the D.R.C. and Botswana, as well as with auditors and tax advisory offices in Germany and Poland and various governmental agencies.

We are based around 45 minutes from the International Airport in Frankfurt/Main, about the same distance from Frankfurt City, and have an office in the centre of Berlin (Potsdamer Platz 11).

We have recently been awarded by the financial magazine Corporate INTL with the title "Cross Border Insolvency Team of the Year in Germany 2010".
