The Banking and Finance Practice Area Group advises on all aspects of banking and finance transactions, including: Structured finance, Acquisition finance, Corporate lending, Property finance, Project Finance and PPP, Asset finance and leasing, Syndicated lending.

- Commercial Law

Our commercial team of lawyers is focusing on providing to our clients pragmatic legal solutions that are not only legally satisfactory but also meeting their business needs. It starts with the assistance in defining the best way to implement their business strategy, in the appropriate drafting of the required legal documents and especially the commercial contracts, the preventive management of any potential conflicting situation and, if necessary, in providing the best solution to solve actual conflicts through negotiation, mediation, arbitration or litigation.

- Corporate Law

The Corporate Practice Areas Group advises on all aspects of corporate law and transactions, including: Corporate Governance, Corporate Litigation, Liabilities, Mergers and Acquisitions, Insolvency, Bankruptcy and Debt Restructuring.

- Dispute Resolution

Our objective is to obtain a commercially favorable outcome for our clients rather than a fight to the death in every case. It takes a positive lead in managing disputes, seeking to adopt a constructive and efficient approach. We are stimulating the use of ADR, when appropriate, to complement conventional litigation procedures.

- Employment and Pensions

The employment team is composed by highly dedicated lawyers and seasoned professionals. They operate and function in an integrated way with other teams within the firm. Over the years they have developed a pragmatic approach to client matters, focusing on issues and providing effective solutions.

- Insolvency and Restructuring

Our team deal with Safety Measures: Warning; Acquisition of a controlling interest on the occasion of the capital restructuring of the ailing company, L.B.O.; Transfer by a group of its stake in an ailing company, liquidation of the said company through amicable settlement; Negotiations with creditors (debt restructuring, standstill agreements etc.) and labor and management; Preventive procedures: ad hoc mandate, conciliatory proceedings; and Insolvency (rescue, compulsory winding-up and bankruptcy): Advising (incl. acting before courts and other bodies).

- Insurance and Funds
