CHARLES ROCK: Chiropractic malpractice is negligence by a chiropractor. We have a great deal of experience in chiropractic malpractice. We represent victims of chiropractic malpractice in many states around this country.

Most victims of chiropractic malpractice are young healthy people who have no risk for stroke who after having upper cervical manipulation find themselves with critical medical conditions related to stroke from vertebral artery dissection.

Vertebral artery dissection occurs when a chiropractor improperly does an upper cervical manipulation, or a neck twist. Very often, clients come to us long after they've had a stroke. They often don't make the connection between having gone to a chiropractor and suffering the stroke.

We work closely with experts who explain very competently to a jury why this happens, how it happens and together we walk through that process.

CHARLES ROCK: Lead poisoning is an entirely preventable childhood disease. Lead poisoning happens usually in older housing stock where the paint has been allowed to deteriorate, crack and chip.

The laws in New York are fairly strict on landlords because a child not knowing better will often put paint chips in their mouth or will mouth painted surfaces that are coated with lead paint because it tastes good.

The harm caused by lead poisoning is much greater for children than it is for adults. Oftentimes, the problems that it causes don't show up for years. The most serious consequence of childhood lead poisoning is the inability of the child to perform in school and perform academically the way he or she otherwise would have.

We've been prosecuting lead poisoning cases for almost 20 years. They're complicated cases that require experience and expertise.

CHARLES ROCK: I've been practicing since 1989. I started off in the insurance defense industry representing doctors and hospitals in medical malpractice cases. I came from a family of doctors and I realized very quickly that the care I received growing up wasn't the same that most people receive.

I switched from being a defense attorney to representing the victims because I realized it's the victims who need the help. By spending my time helping the victim, I feel like we level the playing field.

When an 80,000 pound tractor trailer runs into a stopped car, that car will immediately be thrust forward at the same speed as the truck. The injuries that result from a collision of that nature are catastrophic.

It's the duty and obligation of a trucking company to make sure their drivers are safe. When they're not, the trucking company as well as the driver will be held responsible.
