Mr. Simms worked in Washington, D.C. for Congressman Jose E. Serrano. He is past president of the Utah Minority Bar Association, sat on the Utah State Bar Commission as an Ex-Officio member, and was co-vice chair of the Utah State Bar Criminal Law section from 2003-2006.
