Our Firm

On 1st September 1988, Colin Ng & Partners LLP (CNP) was founded with the core businesses, maintained to the present day, of Banking and Finance, Corporate, Conveyancing and Dispute Resolution. Even at its infancy, the firm had attained a reputation amongst the legal industry and in the community it served, for the speed and quality of its service. The firm is also reputed for its regionalisation drive, and by 2000, the firm became one of the few elite Singapore law firms to have set up a presence in Beijing.

By October 2002, the firm had relaunched its China practice in new premises in Beijing, and started its Hong Kong office, becoming the only Singapore law firm with a presence in Beijing and Hong Kong.

By 2004, the firm continued its unique approach to regionalisation by establishing its India Practice Group, to service the growing legal needs for the Indian economy, as well as to complement the Greater China Practice Group.

The firm continues to explore and manage growth in the domestic and regional fronts, balancing and leveraging on opportunities and talents. With the increased use of technology to deliver faster and more efficient legal services to clients, the firm also hopes to reinvent and differentiate its practices.

The firm celebrates its 20th Anniversary in 2008 and remains fully committed to expansion and regionalisation. CNP continues to endeavour to be at the forefront of the development of the way legal services are to be delivered now and in the future.

Our Lawyers

Colin Ng & Partners LLP consists of more than 60 lawyers employed throughout the region, organised into various Practice Groups. The strength of CNP LLP is the composite of the individual strengths of each of our lawyers, focused on delivering innovative and pragmatic solutions and adding value. Our lawyers are conversant in many languages, including English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, French, German, Romanian, Japanese and Spanish.
