Emeth Chambers is a legal firm with its registered office at Suite 3B Building 2 Manor Lodge Complex, Green Hill Warrens, St. Michael. Barbados.Mrs. Suzanne Barker-Small, Attorney-at-Law is our Head of Chambers and an accomplished member of numerous organizations, including the Barbados Bar Association and The International Bar Association which allows clientele to pursue legal matters worldwide. As a member of the Intellectual Property, Commercial, Technology and E-Commerce committees of the International Bar, she is privy to a wide range of publications in these areas. In September 2005, she was also an awardee of a Diploma in International Intellectual Property Law at the College of Law, England. At present, and in keeping with the expanding global community, the Chambers also facilitates communication in English, French and Spanish and translation services. It also offers services in other jurisdictions due to a closely-knit network of lawyers & firms.
Our key areas of practice are intellectual property & e-commerce, debt collections, commercial contracts, real estate, and civil law. We are however general practitioners as is the case with most Barbadian legal firms.
A large sector of our clientele are offshore companies and overseas clients to whom we offer other services, namely property management, Purchase/Sale of real estate, Corporate Management-inclusive of locating offices, hiring staff etc, International Business Company incorporations and Corporate Secretarial Services to name a few. Our office also offers debt & rental collection services to absentee Landlords & Creditors and monies may be wired directly to the client or deposited on a local account.
For Intellectual Property clients our office offers Patent, Trademark, Registered Design, Copyright and other relevant IP services.
The firm advises in connection with the establishment of international business companies, and related financing and contractual arrangements in the offshore financial services sector.
