Fabritius Tengnagel & Heine specializes in international commercial law. We have considerable experience of the particular problems typically met by foreign companies when they operate businesses in Denmark or wish to become established in Denmark with a view to this.

It is our aim that each legal expert be generally well informed in order to be able to provide expert advice – also within his/her special areas of expertise. Our legal experts are therefore all well-founded generalists, who have developed special expertise in a number of specialist areas. The company’s history can be traced back to 1865. We are therefore the oldest law firm in Copenhagen. The company is located in the heart of Frederiksstaden in the historic Mecanicus Kretz' Gaard, built at the beginning of the 18th century.

We want to offer you efficient and value optimizing advice, based on a sound professional foundation. Our work involves us coming into regular possession of internal knowledge, which can be of great importance to our clients. This information is handled with the utmost confidence.

We do not take on cases, which in any way could involve conflict of interests with our other clients. We therefore carry out an investigation of possible conflicts of interest, before taking new cases. In order to ensure security and credibility in connection with the case, we do not allow partners or associates to be involved in financial transactions with clients.

As our client you cannot only expect legal advice of high professional standard, you can also expect us to communicate in way that is easy to understand. We place great emphasis on an informal and clear manner. We believe that legal advice should be customized to the client’s particular requirements. - Compulsory Auction and Mortgage Collection

For many years Fabritius Tengnagel & Heine have held several mortgage credit institutes cases regarding the compulsory auction of property. We have hereby gained a thorough knowledge of and a specialization in the handling and implementation of compulsory auctions of property. We advise creditors, mortgagees, judgment creditors etc., seeking satisfaction via compulsory auction. We also advise companies and private individuals, who have purchased or who wish to purchase property at compulsory auction.

- Debt Recovery

Our orientation toward the business sector is reflected in our extensive department for judicial debt recovery.
