Frias & Daisy serves as General Counsel to small and midsized companies throughout Northern Virginia. In that capacity, we advise our clients on a wide range of issues, including employment law, financing, governance, contracts and dispute resolution. Our clientele represents a great diversity of industries, but we have particular expertise working with government contractors and with companies in the financial services sector. The services we provide to our small business clients as General Counsel are also available to businesses as traditional outside counsel. In addition, we also have a wealth of experience representing individuals and entities in government investigations, especially enforcement investigations by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Finally, as a complement to our small business advisory practices, we also provide estate planning services for individuals and business succession services for small businesses.

Frias & Daisy was founded in 2009 by Erik Frias and Dean Daisy. Mr. Frias is a graduate of Georgetown University and George Mason University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude. Mr. Frias spent the early part of his career in a large, New York-based law firm. Mr. Daisy is a graduate of Valparaiso University and Valparaiso University School of Law as well as Chicago-Kent University School of Law, where he earned an LL.M. in Financial Services law. Prior to co-founding Frias & Daisy, Mr. Daisy spent several years primarily working as General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer of businesses with revenues in excess of $50 million.

As a testament to our strong relationships with our clients, Frias & Daisy expanded in 2011 by introducing two additional attorneys to our practice. With the addition of Bob Stroh and Seth Garfield, we have strengthened our core corporate practices. Mr. Garfield also supports our Government Contracts practice.
