Sefa Guven's career has begun at a law firm in Los Angeles, CA, USA when he was just 19 which is such an early age for the law profession. Upon graduating from &304stanbul University, The Faculty of Law, he worked at various law firms in Istanbul,Turkey thereby managed a variety of complex legal issues. He also worked at Central Registry Agency (Merkezi Kayit Kurulusu), the authorized Central Securities Depository for dematerialized financial instruments in Turkey and who plays a central role in securities market both as a post trading institution and as the primary source of ownership information for the issuer.

Sefa Guven has an unrivalled breadth and depth of knowledge, experience and perspective across many practice areas. He is a highly experienced litigator and advises on several complex legal issues such as private equities & venture capitals, joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, project finance, aviation and maritime matters. He is still the president of working group of The Union Internationale des Avocats (The International Association of Lawyers) within Foreign Relations Centre of Istanbul Bar Association.
