At HANS LAW FIRM, we represent individuals and small to medium size businesses in the Greater Toronto area. Our practice areas include: civil litigation, real estate, corporate/business law, wills & estates, and intellectual property (trade-marks).RUPINDER HANS was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 1999. Ms. Hans practiced in a mid-town Manhattan civil litigation boutique for over seven years, serving both international and domestic clients in trial and appellate practice before the Federal and State Courts of the State of New York and throughout the United States. She represented institutional, corporate and individual clients in agency and administrative proceedings, and before domestic and international arbitration tribunals. She litigated actions involving wrongful dismissal, trade secrets, trade-mark infringement and dilution, securities fraud, unfair competition and shareholder/director disputes.
After being admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2006, Ms. Hans practiced in a Toronto intellectual property and commercial litigation firm for over two years in a variety of areas of law, including: trade-marks, patent infringement, trade-secrets, professional negligence and corporate/commercial matters.
During law school, Ms. Hans served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of International Law and Practice.
