Law Firm Overview
HAAG is an independent law firm, which advises internationally and domestically in local and international transactions, in all the areas of the law.HAAG’s lawyers can provide services in various foreign languages, i.e.: English, Italian, French, Spanish and German.
The firm has chosen a form of practice, from among the various forms in existence, which is essentially based on total independence, the absolute primacy of our Client’s interests and solid technical expertise. Therefore, the firm stresses the importance of a personal relationship with its Clients and a service that is not limited to providing technical legal services, but also involves the careful consideration of all aspects of each Client’s interests, aiming to provide overall consultancy services. Accordingly, each case is treated on an individual basis, through the search and creation of the solutions that are, in practice, best adapted to the requirements of each case, including the use of a multidisciplinary approach.
The factors of competitive advantage and differentiation we seek are the technical quality of the services we provide; the creativity of the solutions we propose; our total availability to our Clients; our personal commitment to the cases that we are involved in and our capacity to assist our Clients in a multidisciplinary, strategic and global framework.
We constantly seek to improve our lawyers through continuous internal training and by providing them with access to trainings available on the market.
For HAAG, internationalization, which was initially merely a strategy in order to achieve a position in the foreign market and to create favourable conditions for the supply of professional services to foreign Clients has, as a consequence of the increase in the size of the market in which the firm is active, become a specialisation, in line with market globalisation.
As a consequence of the international contacts it has established and its accumulated knowledge and know-how of various jurisdictions and legal systems, HAAG now provides its services to the global market and has the specific capacity to advise and represent its Clients in relation to investment and business development operations in various jurisdictions. The firm’s most relevant foreign markets are Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Angola, Mozambique, the Democratic Republic of Congo and China.
HAAG is able to:
• Accompany and support its Clients in the countries where they wish to become established or with which they wish to establish any type of financial relationship and to assist and represent them in the negotiation and making of international contracts;
• Create solutions for business structures and operations for the business proposed and to support the implementation thereof in conjunction with local lawyers;
• Represent its Clients in dealings with local lawyers in order ensure the optimisation of the services they provide and the adaptation thereof to our Clients’ interests and strategy.
Internally HAAG is structured in Coordination Units, organized by areas of specialization tendencies Each Coordination Unit consists of lawyers directed to the corresponding areas of specialization that accumulate experience and training adequate to their practice and Is directed by a Coordinating Lawyer, under the Partner's orientation.
