By focusing only on a Bucks County divorce practice, Mr. Lieberson has extensive experience with local rules and procedures, as well as a familiarity and experience dealing with all of the relevant players – Domestic Relations Officers, Family Masters, Custody Conference Officers and Judges.

A large portion of Mr. Lieberson’s practice is devoted to providing second opinions regarding ongoing divorces, or taking control of a stalled divorce and moving it to a prompt and successful conclusion.

Mr. Lieberson fights hard for his clients and has an excellent reputation for obtaining superior results. However, he will never tell a client “what he/she wants to hear”, since litigating unrealistic claims and issues is the single largest cause of unnecessary and excessive legal fees.

Although there are occasional instances when delay is an appropriate strategy (ie: extend duration of medical coverage), for most clients it is important to move divorce cases to a conclusion as quickly as possible. This means obtaining all of the necessary information and documents (account statements, home and business appraisals, loan payoffs, etc.) as quickly as possible, and then making a bona fide realistic attempt at settling the case. If settlement is not possible, it is then important to move cases to court and conclude them as quickly as possible.

Mr. Lieberson’s primary source of clients is prior clients and word of mouth, as well as attorney referrals. This is a tribute to the high level of satisfaction and client service provided over the last 29 years. - Divorce & Family Law

This is strictly a Bucks County divorce and domestic relations practice. Any number of issues confront persons involved in domestic matters. Parties encounter property issues, including possession and sale of the marital home, payment of bills, health insurance questions, and tax issues. Whether or not a divorce is filed, issues will arise regarding custody of minor children, and child and spousal support. You are strongly encouraged to at least have an initial consultation, and not take any steps before then. In particular, it is a mistake to separate or to sign any document or agree to anything before meeting with an attorney.

- Divorce Mediation

Many clients, over the years, have expressed their frustration with the adversarial system. Acrimonious protracted divorce litigation leaves many families financially and emotionally exhausted at a time when they can least afford it. Often the divorce litigation, and custody litigation has a devastating permanent emotional impact upon children. For divorcing couples there is less expensive non-adversarial alterative divorce mediation. The parties meet with Mr. Lieberson at his office and gradually work together to create a win/win result. The parties feel empowered by creating their own result, a "custom fit," as opposed to the "off the rack" result frequently generated by litigation. Mediation will frequently take significantly less time and usually will cost substantially less money than protracted adversarial family court litigation.
