Jimenez Law Office is a small scale law office consisting of a full time managing partner and two (2) associate attorneys. It specializes in litigation, labor and housing and land use laws and provides prompt and quality service to its clients. It represents local and foreign clients as counsel in suits involving civil and special proceedings, labor and criminal cases, special proceedings, torts and damages, collection cases, specific performance, ejectment proceedings, family law such as child custody and nullity of marriage, annulment of title and election cases and the like.The office also provides drafting and review of joint venture agreements, management contracts, and job contracting agreements, employment contracts, franchise and trusts agreements, preparation of legal opinion, board resolutions, incorporation and other similar needs. The office also serves as private prosecutor and in some cases as counsel for Accused in a variety of criminal cases in ordinary courts as well as the Sandiganbayan. These involve crimes involving capital offenses and those against properties, persons, and honor, and violations of special laws.
Atty. Danielito D. Jimenez is the managing partner of the law office. He is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas (UST), Faculty of Civil Law (FACULDAD DEDERECHO CIVIL) in Espana, Manila in 1997. UST is the oldest university in Asia. It is 100 years older than Harvard and 75 years older than Yale University.
Shortly after passing the bar, he worked with the Alampay Gatchalian Mawis and Alampay Law Offices in Makati City until March 2003 as one of its Senior Associates. Said firm is one of the Philippine’s reputable medium sized firms. He was also a regular contributor in Sanggunian-The Phil. Local Gov’t Journal, He also worked as a paralegal in the Law Firm of Vicente Cruz in Manila.
Prior to law school, Atty. Jimenez obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education Major in Mathematics in the same university and had been a faculty member since 1991 with the current rank of Assistant Professor III. Subjects taught to date include: Statutory Construction, Labor Standards and Labor Relations Laws, Social Legislation, Persons and Family Relations, Contemporary Legislation, Introduction to Philippine Laws, Obligations and Contracts, and Sales, Agency and Special Contracts and Roman Law. He also worked as a Personnel Director of the UST Cooperative, Espana, Manila from January 1992 to January 1994. In college, Atty. Jimenez was President of the Central Student Council and was one of the ambassadors of goodwill and Philippine Delegate to the 18th Ship for South East Asian Youth Program.
Atty. Jimenez recently completed an international program at Fordham Law School which provided an overview of the U.S. legal system and explored the following legal areas: Civil Litigation, Constitutional Law, Contract Law, Corporate Law, Criminal Justice System, Intellectual Property and Information Technology, Mergers and Acquisitions, Product Liability Law, and Securities Law. The program also featured workshops on legal English, legal research, and citation form as well as a highly-interactive program that explored the range of “lawyering” skills that are essential for a 21st century global lawyer, including interviewing, negotiating, counseling, drafting, and legal argument skills.
