John Hussey entered the legal profession in 1982 and for the past ten years has been practicing from Fermoy, County Cork where he is supported by an Associate Solicitor Jerry Sheedy B.C.L., Secretarial staff and in-house Chartered Accountant Catherine Hussey B.A. ACA.

John was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1984, admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court of Ireland in 1991 and as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Northern Ireland in 2000.

He previously practiced in Mayfair in London and established his practice in Fermoy, County Cork in June 1992. He holds an Honor Law Degree from Liverpool John Moores University, a Post Graduate Masters Degree in Law from the National University of Ireland, University College Cork and a Diploma in the International and Comparative Law of Human Rights, University of Strasbourg, France.

He is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Regional Director in the Republic of Ireland of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, an Associate Member of the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Southern Law Association and the International Bar Association. He also holds membership of the Law Societies of Ireland, England and Wales.
