Ken Waszkiewicz is a solo practitioner licensed to practice law in Maryland, and has been a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office since 2000. Kens patent law experience includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications, preparing non-infringement and invalidity opinions of counsel, and litigating patent matters. TECHNICAL BACKGROUND
Before practicing law, Ken was a systems engineering and integration consultant to NASA, the Air Force, the Department of Defense, and commercial clients for 14 years. He has extensive experience building and integrating mission-driven system. He has designed system architectures to support database and data warehouse applications, real-time data processing, cryptographic and secure processing, business-to-business messaging, inventory control, network communication processing, and spacecraft simulation and control applications. He has design and development experience with object-oriented and structured design methodologies, and has developed software for a variety of hardware platforms, operating systems, and programming languages.

EDUCATION
Ken received a B.S. degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 1985, and an M.S. degree in Computer Science from the George Washington University in 1988. Ken received a J. D. degree from the University of Baltimore, School of Law in 1997, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Intellectual Property Law Journal.
