Kightlinger & Gray, LLP started in 1946 when Erle A. Kightlinger and Mark W. Gray began practicing law together in Indianapolis, Indiana. While the early practice was general in nature, Erle and Mark placed a strong emphasis on litigation skills. Erle and Mark believed that a litigation background would better equip the firm’s attorneys in recognizing how important it can be for a client to avoid the costs and uncertainties of lawsuits whenever possible. Over the past 58 years, this perspective has allowed the firm to make an easy transition into a broad range of non-litigation skills and business advisory services.Kightlinger & Gray is a full-service legal firm with offices located in three Indiana cities; Indianapolis, Evansville, and New Albany. Kightlinger & Gray opened its Evansville office in 1976 and its New Albany office in 1991.
