- Divorce

No matter how amicable your divorce, the process can get complicated. It is important to have a lawyer in your corner who understands California family law and knows how to protect your interests. - Legal Separation / Annulment

When married couples are no longer able to live together, they usually will seek a divorce. In some cases, though, they may choose to seek a legal separation for tax purposes, life or health insurance concerns or due to religious beliefs. In some instances, an annulment of the marriage may be an option (thus placing you back in a position as if the marriage never took place). Regardless of which path you choose, there are several potentially complex legal issues that need to be addressed and it is important that you have an experienced family law attorney who can protect your interests.

In some cases, false accusations are made to hurt your standing in a divorce proceeding. I can represent you at your hearing and seek to disprove any false allegations that have been made against you. If you are the victim of domestic violence, I can assist in protecting your safety and well-being and the safety of your children by petitioning the court for temporary and permanent restraining orders. I also help clients with the enforcement of restraining orders.
