Mr. Stark graduated from the University of Texas and University of Texas Law School in 1976. He began his career as a Misdemeanor prosecutor for the Travis County Attorneys office where he tried many misdemeanor jury trials for two and half years. He joined the office of the Travis County District Attorney in 1978 where he served as a chief prosecutor in the trial division for two and half years.
