Founded in 1983, LPA has presently more than 130 lawyers with two offices in Paris and Hong Kong. LPA lawyers' expert knowledge of a number of specialist areas enables them to address the full range of their clients' requirements.LPA's main fields of activities are Property Law, Real Estate, Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Law, Labor and Employment Law, Banking Law, Insurance Law, Investment in France, Investment and Tax Law. In particular, LPA's Real Estate team is one of the largest and most experienced of any firm currently working in this field.
In the year 2000, LP was involved in acquisition operations with a total value of € 1,800 million.
In 1996, LPA set up an internal working group to monitor and improve harmonization and standards of service. On 26 December 2001, LPA obtained ISO 9001 (version 2000) certification from AFAQ (the French standards association), reference number QUAL/2001/17521. This certification reflects the existence of a reliable, effective quality management system within the firm. LPA's rigorous quality policy involves the establishment of comprehensive documentation facilities, internal auditing and other actions to ensure the satisfaction of their clients.
LPA's Hong Kong office is associated with prestigious Chinese Cabinet Sit, Fung Kwong & Shum, sharing their facilities in Xi'an (China). With the development of the Great China, this office has become a professional, multilingual and multi cultural team providing customers with high level services.
