U.S. Citizens may file a Marriage petition for their spouse if either he/she in the United States or outside the country. Our law firm handles many of these cases per month. Our law firm handles these lawful permanent resident (Green card) cases throughout the United States. Our marriage cases take approximately 3 to 4 months for the entire process. That means your spouse will receive his/her lawful permanent resident card (Green Card) in 4 months. In addition, the alien spouse will receive his/her social security number and employment authorization card in sixty (60) days. Our law firm has been working closely with the USCIS Local Office in Jacksonville, Florida for almost ten (10) years, and we are familiar with many of the Immigration Officers in that office.
- Spousal Visas
The Spouse of a U.S. Citizen is eligible for Spousal Visa that allows them to enter the United States and includes employment authorization these visas are intended to speed up the processing of paperwork to allow your spouse to legally enter the U.S. as quickly as possible. The spousal visa is a two-step process, as it requires filing two separate USCIS petitions with two different USCIS offices. These two petitions must be filed a specific way with specific layouts of information and documents to ensure speedy and successful processing. We file our petitions according to the way that is preferred by U.S. immigration officers, thereby ensuring you speedy processing of your case. If there is one document or piece of information missing that the Officer needs, this could delay your case by at least one to three months. That is why it is essential to hire an attorney that is well-trained and experienced with your specific visa case type.
- Green Cards
Permanent immigration is the ultimate goal of many people entering or planning to enter the United States. Lawful permanent residency offers individuals a multitude of benefits, including the freedom to live and work permanently in the U.S. Potential immigrants should be as informed about the laws as possible. That's why our firm is dedicated to providing you with a complete online database of immigration information.
- Citizenship
A Lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder) may file for U.S. Citizenship either 2 years and 9 months of having lawful permanent residence if he or she is married to a U.S. Citizen or 4 years and 9 months if filed any other way. Citizenship cases filed by our law firm in Jacksonville, Florida take approximately 3 to 4 months for processing time by the local USCIS Office, assuming there are no issues in the file. We also file Citizenships for people throughout the United States. It is important to have an attorney prepare and file the Citizenship Application on your behalf, to ensure that your case is not "Lost in the system" upon filing. Also, our office reviews many issues on your behalf before filing the Citizenship Application, as USCIS always has the right to send immigrants to Immigration Court if certain issues arise. To avoid this issue, we highly advise to use a licensed experienced attorney before filing for your Citizenship since this is the final procedure to becoming a U.S. Citizen.
