- Gadolinium Lawsuits

Gadolinium is a contrast agent used when taking an MRI. However, an overdose or allergic reaction to Gadolinium can be very dangerous, and even deadly. As it takes over eighteen months for problems to develop, you may have no idea why you are even sick in the first place.

The side effects of Gadolinium were unknown until 2000 when the Minneapolis Star Tribune shed some much-needed light on a terrible situation. With over one hundred thousand MRIs in Minnesota alone last year, problems resulting from Gadolinium are on the rise.

Although the FDA has black boxed the drug, giving it the highest possible warning a drug can have, it is still being used. It is so dangerous that in time, it will probably be pulled from the market, but until then, people will continue to look for a way to protect their rights.
