Law Firm Overview Free Consultation

At Miller & Miller Law, LLC, we are dedicated to helping our clients reduce their debt. As a firm solely focused on providing bankruptcy legal services in an age of economic unrest, we are happy to offer: Free initial consultations; Friendly, approachable bankruptcy counseling; Access to state-of-the-art technology for greater ease of filing; A commitment to answering your bankruptcy questions and providing you with alternatives to Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 filing; and, Spanish language services.

Financial-related legal issues are often time-sensitive and require special attention and dedication so they can be resolved efficiently. If the law firm you choose is dividing their attention between family law, real estate and personal injury issues in addition to helping you, chances are you're not getting the level of attention you need nor the quality you deserve.

Whether we are explaining alternatives to bankruptcy, such as debt consolidation or Wisconsin's Chapter 128, or helping you through the bankruptcy process, we will always be committed to your case 100 percent. As a husband-and-wife team of bankruptcy attorneys, we like to think of it as our family helping other families. We know the financial challenges you face, and we understand how those challenges play out in a domestic framework. There are solutions out there, and we are here to help you find one that works for you.

Practice Areas

Practice Areas Description

At Miller & Miller Law, LLC, our bankruptcy practice includes:

- Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

We are Chapter 7 bankruptcy lawyers who help people get out of financial trouble. We have 12 years of experience helping people resolve financial difficulties, and we can help you. The bankruptcy laws have changed, but you may still qualify to begin again through Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Typically, people with debts who file a Chapter 7 bankruptcy are looking to discharge unsecured credit card debt, utility bills, back rent, medical bills, uninsured car accident judgments, amounts owed on repossessed or surrendered vehicles, and other debts. They have encountered an event--job loss, serious illness, the death of a spouse--that pushes them over the edge. A Chapter 7 personal bankruptcy filing is a way to start over.

- Chapter 13 Bankruptcy

We are Chapter 13 bankruptcy lawyers who help people resolve financial trouble. We have 12 years of experience helping people get out of debt, and we can help you. The bankruptcy laws have changed, but you may still qualify to begin again through a Chapter 13 bankruptcy filing. Chapter 13 bankruptcy is a form of legal debt reorganization. Like Chapter 7 bankruptcy, it is a procedure in federal court that begins with the filing of a bankruptcy petition and schedules. Chapter 13 bankruptcy is different from Chapter 7 bankruptcy in that, rather than providing for an outright discharge of someone's liabilities, it allows them to repay some or all of their debt over three to five years.

- Bankruptcy Alternatives

While we are a bankruptcy law firm, we always encourage our clients to explore all options in finding debt relief, including Chapter 128 reorganization, debt consolidation and mortgage modification.
