In addition, we provide "General Counsel" services to companies that want all of their legal requirements managed for them in a cost effective and efficient manner – often where they don't have time to stay on top of their lawyers on an hour by hour basis.

Who we are: IAN PENMAN - previously an Associate at a top 10 city firm, where he spent over 7 years advising clients – primarily in Media and Entertainment law – often focusing on the New Media sector involving the Internet and e-commerce. Ian's clients include record companies, music publishers, artist managers, television producers (and broadcasters), film production companies, artists and musicians, magazine and book publishers, software developers, domain name registrars, ISP's and Website programmers together with more general commercial companies. Prior to entering the law profession, Ian was in the music industry for 10 years – initially as a professional musician and record producer, and latterly in artist management and music publishing. Ian regularly speaks at conferences focusing on Media and Entertainment – and has chaired the Euroforum seminar on the Digital Distribution of Music - since its inception in 1999. In 2000, Ian was a member of the ICANN Working Group which advised the ICANN board on its strategy for the introduction of new global domain names. He holds an LLB from The University of London, as well as a Masters in Law (specializing in Internet and Multimedia Rights) from the University of Westminster, where he is currently a Visiting Principal lecturer - and has written both their Entertainment & Media and e-commerce courses for the LPC.

PAUL HOSFORD - previously a partner in the city office of a US based international practice. He has spent over 10 years advising clients exclusively in the technology, e-commerce and new media sectors. He was also formerly in-house counsel at GEC-Marconi Limited. Paul's clients include software developers and vendors, IT services and infrastructure companies, electronic publishers, web developers, ISP's and iTV and Internet based businesses, and companies supplied by such businesses. Paul regularly speaks at conferences focusing on technology and e-commerce issues, particularly including technology outsourcing and e-commerce regulation. He holds an LLB from the University of Reading and has been a principal contributor to the UK online e-commerce section of ebldirect, a leading legal publisher.

MICHELLE BONN - Michelle is a holder of the Postgraduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Certificate. Michelle has a BA Hons in Italian from UCL London and spent a year at the University of Bologna where she studied History of film and cinema and English history. Michelle speaks Italian, Spanish and French.
