Law Firm Overview
Founded in 2008, Rechtsanwaltskanzlei Kirchner is a highly specialised law firm in the greater Frankfurt am Main area. Located in the heart of Germany and Europe near the financial capital of Germany and the seat of the European Central Bank, KIRCHNER serves mainly international clients with business interests in Germany. The focus of the firm is on advising firms which want to enter the German market as well as on start up companies. For firms new to Germany, we offer the full range of services - not just to get you started but to accompany you all the way. From getting the first permits and setting up corporate structures to labour law disputes and the enforcement of contracts, we provide you with the best possible service.
Our international outlook and high degree of specialisation form the two pillars on which the firm is build, but these pillars stand on a fundament of permanent continuing legal education. Stefan Kirchner, the founder of the firm, has studied in Cambridge (U.K.), Izmir (Turkey), The Hague and Utrecht (The Netherlands), Helsinki (Finland) and has received a Diploma in International Law, a Diploma in International Humanitarian Law, has graduated Referendar jur. and Assessor jur. and has obtained a Masters Degree in International Law. He has published around 100 academic articles and six legal books and is supported by a multilingual team, allowing the firm to provide legal advise in German, English, Spanish, Polish, Portugese, Italian, Turkish, Dutch and Russian.
In addition to our corporate and administrative law services, we provide a special service: as one of a few firms in Europe, we regularly are involved in litigation at the European Court of Human Rights. Often, applicants to the European Court of Human Rights rely on the attorneys who have accompanied them during proceedings at the domestic stage. Since these attorneys are often specialists in their field but not in European Human Rights Law, this makes their job more difficult. Therefore the firm offers two distinct models of litigation: either we take over the case completely or we advise colleagues on matters of European Human Rights Law, allowing them to keep their clients while providing applicants with the best service possible.
