Published Articles Law Firm Overview
Reid & Hellyer is an experienced, dedicated law firm with offices in Riverside, Temecula, and Orange County, California. Our firm has been able to thrive for over a century based on a simple philosophy: Provide the highest level of legal representation to our clients, and do so in the most cost-effective manner possible. We strongly believe in the obligation to put our clients interests ahead of all others, including our own. Our clients always come first. Period. Integrity and ethics are the cornerstone of our practice, and we strive to maintain our impeccable reputation within the Southern California legal community.Reid & Hellyer is in some respects a throwback to a by-gone era. We consider our firm to be a second family, as most of the attorneys have worked only at R&H. Indeed, senior partner Dave Moore has practiced at the firm since 1964. Under the firms leadership, R&H has continued to enjoy a reputation as one of the most respected law firm names in Southern California. Reid & Hellyers reputation as one of the finest business litigation firms in Southern California is exemplified by the fact that firm members Dave Moore and Terry Bridges are the only actively practicing attorneys in Riverside and San Bernardino counties listed in the business litigation section of the "Best Lawyers in America."
Our origins date back to 1897 with the founding of the San Bernardino firm of Surr and Hellyer. In 1985, a merger of Surr and Hellyer and the Riverside firm of Reid, Babbage and Coil, formed in 1964, combined two of the preeminent firms in Southern California. Since the merger, construction and business law attorney Tom Miller, bankruptcy attorney Mark Schnitzer, and employment litigation attorney Terry Bridges have joined the firm. We pride ourselves on continuing the tradition of our founding firms by providing professional, comprehensive legal service to individuals and businesses of national, regional and local prominence.
Our leadership and commitment to the Inland Empire is not restricted to the legal community. Our attorneys sit on numerous boards and commissions in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, for the State Bar of California, and we support a wide variety of local organizations and activities aimed at improving the quality of life in our respective communities.
