Founded in 1989, Silva & Associates is a full service Mexican law firm. Since its foundation, the firm has dedicated itself to providing excellent client services, offering a wide range of practice areas.We are by definition, the first and only law firm in the State of Baja California, that has been voluntarily subject to the standards of professional conduct and responsibility of the American Bar Association, and, – where it is in the best interest of its clients – some of our services are provided by qualified non-lawyers, such as certified experts in international trade, architects or engineers.
Our members have broad experience in advising international and domestic clients in all legal aspects of their Mexican and cross-border businesses. We assist our clients in the structuring of their projects in order to maximize the benefits derived from their investment, and, on the other hand, to minimize possible risks and losses at reasonable expense. The firm also counts with a strong full-service litigation department, which has successfully handled over one thousand cases throughout the entire country.
Our members have been internationally trained and are familiar with the standards and expectations of foreign entrepreneurs. Some of the firm’s members have been admitted to and are also experienced in the legal practice in other international jurisdictions. Also in the benefit of our clients, the firm has an established network of related professionals in the major cities of Mexico and abroad, as well as representative offices in the cities of Saltillo and Monclova, Coahuila; Tijuana, Ensenada and Mexicali, Baja California and México City, as well as in La Jolla California.
