Sule Law Firm offers legal services in IP registration and litigation cases and advise in business law. Our workload consists of 50% intellectual property related work on Hungarian and European Union levels and 50% commercial work on Hungarian national level.

Our areas of practice include:

- Trademarks & Designs

Süle Law Firm handles European (Community) trademarks (CTMs), international registrations and national trademarks on a daily basis. We are available for both contentious and non-contentious work, since our attorneys are qualified lawyers who handle infringement issues as well. We assist by applications European Union wide, in oppositions, revocations and cancellations, recordals at the registries of the HIPO, OHIM and WIPO. We also offer filing and enforcement services with respect to designs, registered Community designs (RCDs), international designs and advise on novelty issues and on Unregistered Community Designs (UCDs). Our law firm also handles large IP portfolios. Besides, we file and manage Applications for Customs Measures EU-wide (based on the 1383/2003/EC) and in Hungary, we cooperate with Customs Units specialized in anti-counterfeiting. We can arrange the market monitoring of infringing goods and have experience in taking prompt action if needed.

- Data Privacy

We are available for consultation and legal advice in data protection and freedom of information compliance issues. We regularly prepare and evaluate company policies and analyze websites from these aspects in order to reach full compliance with the applicable laws. We also carry out data privacy compliance audits and prepare the related due diligence reports.

- Information Technology

Our lawyers are comfortable with the newest developments in IT and understand the gravity of the related legal issues. We not only offer domain name registrations and acquisition services, but can take measures against cybersquatting, initiate ADR proceedings, and recommend for some of our clients even Internet monitoring for possible infringements. Legal evaluation of websites is generally also an important task due to the various local regulations. We also give advice on e-Commerce and Internet/e-mail marketing.
