Tan Peng Chin LLC (or TPC as we are commonly known to clients and friends) is a medium sized full service Singapore law firm with a regional practice that strives to provide clients with prompt and efficient services with the highest level of legal expertise. We are constantly aware that the solutions we propose should be practical and effective, bearing in mind the market practice and commercial realities of each individual case.

We were founded in 1994 by Mr Tan Peng Chin as Tan Peng Chin & Partners and was converted to a Law Corporation or LLC in 2001. We now have about 35 lawyers of whom 20 are Senior Directors / Directors (Partner-equivalent) and 15 are Senior Managers / Managers (Senior Associate / Associate equivalent).  Of the 20 Directors, about 11 are also Shareholders.

Several of our lawyers have been admitted in other jurisdictions in addition to being Advocates & Solicitors of the Supreme Court of Singapore. In total, we have 75 lawyers, paralegals and staff, combined.  We are supported by a full-time Knowledge Manager who houses the firm’s Infobank of Precedents and manages the Library & Resources. Our quality and range of expertise comes mainly from the people we hire to assist you. Many of our lawyers had previously worked in international law firms or major Singapore law firms that are associated with international firms, such as Freshfields, Baker & McKenzie, Johnson Stokes & Master, Herbert Smith, etc.

In addition to advising on most areas of Singapore law, we undertake a substantial amount of regional assignments, and work in close collaboration with a number of international law firms as well as many established ones in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Hong Kong & China.
