INTEGRATED LEGAL PRACTICE
Law Firm Principles - Tansley & Dunai, founded by two entrepreneurial attorneys, recognize Hawaii’s need for an alternative to the legal business as usual. Dominique Tansley and Karen Dunai practiced in law firms, as in-house counsel, and in solo practice before joining in their commitment to the power of non-traditional methods of conflict resolution. The principals also led varied and interesting careers before becoming lawyers. Former business owners themselves, they understand the perspective of business owners and executives. Their diverse backgrounds have led to a real world understanding for the interests and concerns of their clients, and to an appreciation of the non-legal aspects that affect our clients.
Law Firm Practice - Integrated Legal Practice means that we look at all aspects of a problem or dispute, including economic, business, social, and moral considerations. We encourage non-traditional methods of resolution, but when legal action is called for, we are strong, fair litigators. Legal problems do not occur in a vacuum. By getting to know our clients and their needs and goals, we can provide creative and practical solutions that are effective and in the best interest of our clients.
