The Kane Varghese Law Firm was founded by Dr. Walter Kane, M.D., J.D, and Biju Varghese, J.D. Dr. Walter Kane, (Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Jurisprudence) received his post graduate medical training from the prestigious Harvard Medical School and is a lifetime member of the Harvard Medical School Post Graduate Association. Dr. Walter Kane is both an experienced practicing medical doctor and an attorney, licensed by the Texas Supreme Court. He is one of the few attorneys who is also an active practicing physician.


As an experienced and practicing E.R. physician, Dr. Kane has delivered babies, treated patients for traumatic injuries of various causes, and is familiar and knowledgeable about a wide variety of medical issues. He brings a very high level of sophistication and understanding in injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice cases, because of his medical training as a doctor and his experience as a practicing physician. As an attorney and lawyer, Dr. Kane applies both his medical and legal knowledge in the prosecution of wrongful death cases, personal injury cases and medical malpractice cases. Biju Varghese, the co-founding attorney and lawyer for the firm, is an experienced attorney and litigator who is also licensed by the Texas Supreme Court (Doctor of Jurisprudence, SMU School of Law, B.B.A. Texas A&M University). Biju Varghese clerked for the United States Department of Justice, United States Attorney’s Office, San Francisco, California. Biju Varghese combines his expertise and experience in business and law, to advise the clients of Kane Varghese in matters ranging from business and corporate matters to litigating personal injury cases, as a team with Dr. Walter Kane.
