William Estrella Law Offices, PSC is located in the historic center of Old San Juan. Our law firm's history dates back to the beginning of the 20th Century. Early that Century, in the same building where our Firm stands, the New York City law firm of Rounds, Hatch, Dillingham & Debevoise (later Rounds, Dillingham, Mead & Neagle) opened a branch office to service some of its Mainland clients like Exxon, Coca-Cola, South P.R. Sugar Co., among others. Mr. James R. Beverley (Governor of Puerto Rico from 1932 to 1934) joined the San Juan branch office in 1934. By 1935, Mr. Beverley buys the branch office and renames it James R. Beverley Law Offices. Later on, the firm continued doing business as Beverley, Castro-Fernández & López-Baralt. By the time William Estrella joined the firm in 1960, the firm was doing business as Beverley, Castro-Fernández & Rodríguez-Lebrón. From 1965 to 1966, the firm operated as a partnership under the name of Beverley, Rodríguez & Reichard, but later resumed, under the proprietorship of Mr. Beverley, as Beverley, Rodríguez, Estrella & Pesquera, until Mr. Beverley passed away in 1967. From 1967 to 1973, the firm operated as a partnership under the same name of Beverley, Rodríguez, Estrella & Pesquera. Upon the dissolution of the partnership, and ever since, the firm has continued doing business under the sole-proprietorship of William Estrella. William Estrella Law Offices became a Professional Services Corporation in 1998.Areas of Practice
