In the beginning of 2009, AFP has also expanded its network in Indonesia by establishing a branch office in Batam Island to facilitate local, national and international clients’ needs in doing their business in Batam, Bintan, Tanjung Balai Karimun as well as Singapore territories.

- Litigation

At Aprilda Fiona & Partners Law Firm, we have competent litigation lawyers who can provide expertise and advocacy required by complex contentious matters. They are experienced in representing clients in civil and criminal proceedings at both general courts and special courts. We are also able to provide representation in commercial arbitration proceedings, which includes the enforcement of arbitral awards in forums under Indonesian jurisdiction.

Our corporate law practice includes the establishment of companies, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, liquidation, bankruptcy, as well as drafting of contracts and commercial documents. We frequently advise on foreign investment in Indonesia, also corporate restructuring including but not limited to mergers and acquisition, reorganizations and joint ventures. The service for foreign investment companies from time to time may include assistance in the employment of personnel, immigration matters, office premises, registration matters and liaison with the relevant authorities.

- Bankruptcy

Aprilda Fiona & Partners Law Firm provides service and representation for international and domestic institutions in the bankruptcy proceedings. We had experiences in defending clients in the Commercial Court for bankruptcy proceedings as well as in representing clients in claiming their rights from a bankruptcy estate of companies declared by the Commercial Court to be in bankruptcy. Our practice in bankruptcy includes Bankruptcy Claim, Administration of Assets, Creditor Meeting and Liquidation Process.

- Finance and Capital Market

AFP advises members of the banking and finance industry in various aspects of their businesses, including advice on documentation for commercial loans, syndicated loans, construction loans, project financing, asset based instruments, structured finance arrangements, leasing, letters of credit and security arrangements, corporate finance including convertible and exchangeable bonds and convertible performance debentures, and the issuance of floating rate notes (FRN) and medium term notes (MTN).
