Goldberg & Osborne is an experienced, dedicated law firm with office locations in Phoenix, Southern Arizona, and Northern Arizona. The firm was founded by partners Mark Goldberg and John Osborne. Goldberg & Osborne opened its first office in Phoenix in March 1989.
Within four months, we opened our second office in Tucson. Since then, we have grown to 21 offices, and more than 20 lawyers, throughout Arizona. Our entire law practice is devoted to helping injured people. We have recovered over 1 billion 300 million dollars in settlements for our clients. Our mission is to treat every client with care and respect, protect their rights and guide them in their pursuit of justice.

In order to help injured people throughout the country, Goldberg & Osborne has formed associations with law firms across the United States. Our firm currently represents people injured from welding rod fumes and dangerous drugs, including Baycol, Rezulin and Ephedra. We have represented over 3000 people from across the country that took the diet drugs Fen-Phen or Redux. We have also represented more than 1300 women in connection with their silicone gel breast implant claims. We handle personal injury cases including automobile accidents, premises liability, dog bite injuries, product liability, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence cases, defective medical devices and dangerous drugs.

Mark Goldberg received a Bachelor of Science degree, with high honor, from Stevens University of Technology in 1967, and was presented with his Juris Doctor in 1970 by the New York University School of Law. John Osborne is an honors graduate from Stanford University and received his Juris Doctor in 1981 at the University of Texas at Austin.

Areas of Law Description

Our practice areas include:

- Dangerous Drugs

Dangerous drugs can include both prescription and over-the-counter medicines consumers take to improve their health. However, some medications have serious side effects that, when weighed against the benefits, are found more harmful than helpful. Manufacturers have a responsibility to protect people from being harmed by dangerous drugs and substances. The injuries caused by long-term exposure to prescription drugs and over-the-counter supplements are often permanent and life-threatening. These injuries may include birth injury; damage to organs, such as the heart, liver or kidneys; damage to the brain or nervous system; and many types of cancer. Our drug side effects lawyers can help you with your claim.

- Defective Medical Devices

Manufacturers of medical devices have a responsibility to ensure that those devices are safe and effective for patients. Examples of medical devices with serious adverse side effects include: Breast implants, Hip replacement devices, Heart devices, and Knee replacement devices. Civil and criminal medical device lawsuits have been filed when a breach of safety occurs in the use of these products. An experienced attorney can help evaluate the circumstances surrounding an injury that resulted from an unsafe or defective medical device.

- Toxic Substances

Toxic substances refer to the harmful chemical and biological materials that may be present in the air we breathe, the food we eat, the water we drink, the clothes we wear, the drugs we take, the paint we put on our walls, and other toxic material we come in contact with. Toxic substances include asbestos, lead paint and pesticides, to name a few. Manufacturers and property owners have a responsibility to protect people from being harmed by dangerous substances.

- Medical Malpractice

Medical malpractice often occurs under one of these circumstances: the delay or failure in diagnosing and properly treating a disease or condition; the failure to take appropriate measures to ensure the birth of a healthy child; a surgical error made during an operation; the misuse of a medical device or implant; and the failure to get informed consent from a patient to undergo an operation. Some surgical errors and serious misdiagnoses can threaten the lives of patients or cause critical injuries and trauma. These catastrophic malpractice injuries demand compensation for the victims by the guilty parties. Goldberg & Osborne can help evaluate these malpractice situations.

- Accidents

The following list includes examples of possible accidents that Goldberg & Osborne accident lawyers will handle: Car or truck accidents; Motorcycle accidents; Rollover accidents; Plane accidents; Bus accidents; Slip and Fall; Premises liability; Defective devices; Hospital negligence; Nursing home neglect and abuse; Dog Bite injuries; Boating accidents. Injury victims may also need help finding an appropriate medical specialist who can wait until the case settles to get paid. The accident lawyers at Goldberg & Osborne can help you.

- Other Injuries

Accidents can happen almost anywhere. If you have been injured and believe that someone else was negligent or responsible for the damage and injuries you suffered, a qualified personal injury attorney can help evaluate the circumstances to find out if you have a valid claim. Injury victims may also need a personal injury lawyer’s help in finding an appropriate medical specialist or pursuing a certain course of legal action. Other Injuries include: Slip and Fall; Dog Bite Injury; Recall Forum; Sexual Abuse; Insurance Bad Faith; Inadequate Security; Consumer Products; Product Liability.
