He ultimately worked as an attorney supervising investigations in the District Attorney's White Collar Unit. At the same time, Mr. Joyce worked for over 10 years for the City of Pittsburgh. During that time, he was appointed Assistant Chief, Office of Professional Responsibility for the Public Safety Department. In that capacity, he was in charge of the public safety office that investigated misconduct or illegal activities on the part of police officers, fire fighters, building inspectors, and EMS workers.
