- Personal Injury

One of the branches of the civil law is the Personal injury law. Its state aim is to protect the rights of the victim and to claim for damages from liable or responsible parties whose negligence or wrongful acts caused the injuries to another person. Another factor in this law is the strict liability of a person or company for a certain product or premises that they are responsible for.

*Vehicle Accident
In the United States the most common forms of personal injury accidents are vehicle accidents. Car accidents can be caused by different factors, and some of which are associated with negligent actions of motorists. Under existing tort laws, if a car accident is caused by a negligent action of a driver, the victim can claim for personal injury damages.

* Brain Injury
Because of the intense impact that can occur in a motor vehicle or slip and fall accident, the risk of a brain injury likely to happen is unavoidable. Headaches, dizziness, and problems with vision and hearing are just three possible signs that may happen once a person suffers such injury resulting from the abovementioned accidents.

* Wrongful Death

There are two types of sexual harassment in the workplace, and these are the hostile work environment harassment and the ‘quid pro quo’ harassment.
