Our firm, starting as a small, general practice law firm after World War II, has grown into one of the largest in Queens County. As one of the oldest firms in Queens County, we have a sense of belonging in and commitment to our community.

The firm was started by two WWII veterans, Seymour Pearlman and Emanuel Gottesman. Burton Apat joined us in 1966 as a pioneer in real estate litigation in Queens County. In 1975, Ira Futterman joined our firm, adding a trial attorney of a great depth of experience and skill. In the 1980s and ‘90s, Martin Seinfeld, Richard Apat, and Lynn Sirotkin joined us, and we expanded our staff to accommodate our flourishing business.
