The Potts Law Firm, based in Kansas City, Missouri, is committed to aggressively representing those who have been wronged by the negligence, misconduct, or fraud of others from coast to coast. The firm was founded in 2002 by Derek Potts.

The firm is composed of outstanding trial attorneys with decades of trial experience which we put to use for every client of the firm. Since most clients which we represent have complex injuries and legal problems, we strive to provide a team approach to every case with multiple lawyers and staff members focused on each case.

Our litigation and trial experience includes cases involving pharmaceutical liability, medical device liability, consumer and business fraud, class actions, serious personal injuries, medical malpractice, product liability, and environmental contamination. In fact, we have been involved in landmark lawsuits, jury trials and verdicts on both a local and national scale. Our victories have been obtained from the jury trial level up to through the appellate court system.

Although the cornerstone of The Potts Law Firm is obtaining excellent legal results in each case, “our primary focus remains the client…” and meeting their particular needs in each particular case as efficiently as possible.
