STEVEN E. GURDIN: We handle all types of divorce litigation, involving issues of child custody, child support, alimony, asset valuation, premarital planning in the nature of premarital agreements and prenuptial agreements. We actively represent clients in the court system in litigated matters. And we often represent clients in alternative dispute resolution settings, such as a mediation or an arbitration. Many of us teach continuing legal education programs for lawyers and judges. I have great respect and affection for my colleagues at Sally & Fitch. And I enjoy working with my clients, who are often very good people in a very difficult time in their lives.

JAMES B. RE: We've handled just about every kind of maritime case imaginable, ranging from representing ship owners and personal injury cases brought by passengers, longshoremen, seamen, fishermen, all the way to the exotic extreme of representing treasure divers seeking to salvage sunken German submarines and to recover gold bullion. Everything that one could imagine, we've been involved with in the maritime field.

FRANK SALLY: They can be personal injury actions. They can be collision actions. They can be charter disputes. They can be cargo damage.

JAMES B. RE: I've been involved in bringing cases to resolution, hundreds, maybe thousands of cases to resolution.

FRANK SALLY: You have to understand the facts. We have been able over the years to develop a great deal of knowledge regarding the operations of ships and different types of vessels.

JAMES B. RE: The fact that I've handled cases of all kinds over many years is very helpful to me in maritime cases, just as the fact that I've handled many maritime cases is helpful to me in resolving business litigation cases. The more knowledge, the better.

Sally & Fitch Law Firm Overview

JONATHAN W. FITCH: Sally & Fitch is a law firm that's devoted exclusively to complex litigation. Many of our clients have experience working with large firms. I think that when they come to Sally & Fitch, they realize that they can get the same level of service and quality of service with more responsiveness and certainly at lower rates.

FRANK SALLY: When Jonathan Fitch and I started this firm, it was with the intention of establishing a law firm that provided the highest quality of legal services to our clients.

STEPHEN REILLY: Our experience and our skill set that we bring to bear often leads to really good results for our clients. And the fact that our clients hire us over and over again speaks to that.

JONATHAN W. FITCH: A number of the cases we get here at the firm have been referred by other lawyers and quite often by lawyers we have litigated against. The core of our practice is business litigation. We also practice in areas of real estate litigation, employment litigation, product liability litigation, tort litigation, family law and probate litigation, admiralty litigation. And also, we represent clients in complex white collar criminal defense and government investigations.

STEPHEN REILLY: All the attorneys here come to work everyday excited and energized to exceed client expectations.

White Collar Crime

[GRAPHIC: SALLY & FITCH LLP, Excellence in Complex Litigation, 617.542.5542 One Beacon Street Boston, MA 02108 www.sally-fitch.com]

PETER BALL: We represent corporations and individuals in all types of government investigations and prosecutions. Our clients have included bank presidents, chief executive officers, senior state government officials, and corporations that are leaders in their field. We treat each client's case as if it's the most important case in the world because it is to that client. Becoming involved in a government investigation for an individual is an extraordinarily stressful event, maybe the most stressful event that they'll go through in their entire life. Our attorneys here at Sally & Fitch include former federal and state prosecutors. That type of experience is invaluable in dealing with the government.

HEATHER V. BAER: I think it would be important for a potential client to know that they'd be receiving the attention of the most senior members of the white collar crime department and that we would prepare them so that during the course of the investigation they would know what to expect and they'd be in the best possible position to protect their interests. The best possible outcome would be a case in which our client wasn't charged.

Probate Law

KURT S. KUSIAK: We handle a wide variety of probate cases, mostly having to do with beneficiaries who are unsatisfied with the service they're getting from their trustees or who are unsatisfied with the returns they're getting from their trust.

ANDREA PERANER-SWEET: Probate litigation is a very sensitive area. It involves family issues and family dynamics. And we'll tailor our recommendations according to the needs of the client. Whether it is counseling the client, whether it is mediation of a particular circumstance, whether it is litigating a particular circumstance, we take a look at the whole situation to determine what we're going to do.
KURT S. KUSIAK: We're very exact about making sure that we understand what our clients' needs are and respond to those needs in the way they'd like.

Business Litigation

JONATHAN W. FITCH: The lawyers here at Sally & Fitch have a great track record in employment litigation and business litigation. Our practice is centered here in Boston, Massachusetts. However, our clients often have needs that take us to other states, not only in New England, but throughout the country.

KURT S. KUSIAK: I think our firm is a great choice for business litigation because we can do anything that the megafirms can do. And we can do it at a much more reasonable price.

JONATHAN W. FITCH: Our clients include some of New England's best-known institutions, entrepreneurs, smaller companies, and individuals who have pressing and urgent problems.

KURT S. KUSIAK: We do everything from complex commercial disputes and contract disputes to business tort litigation to litigation involving securities or government investigations, partnership disputes, limited liability company disputes, limited liability partnership disputes, disputes involving close corporations, and corporations that are both public and private, virtually every kind of business litigation you can imagine.

ANDREA PERANER-SWEET: We also have extensive experience in litigating employment matters. What we do is tailored to the needs of the client. We also pride ourselves in providing individual services, efficient services, and evaluating the economics of the services we're providing.

JONATHAN W. FITCH: If you come to Sally & Fitch with a serious business litigation problem, chances are that someone at this firm has handled a similar case in the past. And you will be matched with just the right lawyer.

Banking Litigation

[GRAPHIC: SALLY & FITCH LLP, Excellence in Complex Litigation, 617.542.5542 One Beacon Street Boston, MA 02108 www.sally-fitch.com]

STEPHEN REILLY: Sally & Fitch is privileged to represent a number of different banks and financial services companies. And the litigation services we provide to them cover a broad spectrum of cases. We represent large federally chartered banks whose footprints extend literally from coast to coast. We represent a number of mid-sized banks who have anywhere between 15 and 20 branch offices here and throughout eastern Massachusetts. We also represent a number of local community banks. I think it's important to point out that in addition to litigation services, Sally & Fitch provides operations counseling to many of its banking clients that will allow them perhaps to avoid the prospect of litigation in the future.

JENNIFER E. GREANEY: We are litigators who understand the business of the bank and want to help the bank make the decisions that are right from a business perspective.

STEPHEN REILLY: If a bank hires Sally & Fitch to provide litigation or even operations counseling services, what that bank can expect to receive is service from a team of professionals who have a long track record of success.

Boston Real Estate Law Firm

[GRAPHIC: SALLY & FITCH LLP, Excellence in Complex Litigation, 617.542.5542 One Beacon Street Boston, MA 02108 www.sally-fitch.com]

JOHN MILLER: We handle a wide variety of real estate litigation at Sally & Fitch from purchase and sale agreements that have gone awry to title disputes, boundary disputes, and adverse possession cases, construction disputes, among others.

JENNIFER E. GREANEY: Our real estate dispute practice is often a fast-paced practice. Real estate disputes very often require immediate action in court.

JONATHAN W. FITCH: The land court, which sits here in Boston but has jurisdiction throughout Massachusetts, is our trial court that deals exclusively with problems affecting title and interests in real property. Part of what we do and frankly something that we enjoy doing is responding to the immediate needs of a client who comes to us with an urgent problem.

JENNIFER E. GREANEY: Most real estate litigants will be better served by an attorney who has a depth of knowledge related to real estate. At Sally & Fitch, we have a depth of experience and we have a comfort level that really helps us get up to speed on our clients' cases quickly.
