Stoeva, Kuyumdjieva & Vitliemov was founded in 2004 by dynamic and diligent lawyers, dedicated to developing a modern and business oriented legal practice. We provide practical problem-solving legal advice in all areas of Bulgarian corporate and commercial law. We have expertise in insurance law and broad long-term litigation practice. Since 2008 we work in association with Dimitrov, Tchompalov & Todorova law firm in the field of securities, capital markets, venture financing and asset securitization, as well as with respect to more complex projects.

We have provided advice and representation to a large number of publicly and privately owned local and foreign companies, international development institutions and nonprofit organizations. Our client-focused strategy is aimed at providing tailored and cost effective legal services to all of our clients.

- Administrative and Regulatory

Our administrative law practice is closely related with the administrative provisions of the laws regulating securities, capital markets, insurance companies and pension funds, banks and non-banking financial institutions, and intellectual property right protection.

- Competition

Antitrust and competition issues are relevant not only for large companies, but for small and mid-sized firms as well. It is important for all businesses to develop antitrust compliance programs to ensure that their internal decisions on pricing, distribution and other competitive issues do not create exposure to antitrust liability.

- Securities and Capital Markets

We advise and represent public and investment companies, broker/dealers, tender offerors and investors in a wide range of compliance and regulatory matters and securities transactions. The firm serves as general or special counsel to public and private companies in IPOs and subsequent offerings, private financing transactions, including equities, debt instruments, minority and control investments. Our practice includes also advice on various aspects of the mandatory and voluntary tender offers regulation and related transactional aspects of the offers.

- Restructuring and Insolvency

The rapid changes of the Bulgarian Law on Commerce in the restructuring and insolvency field have given rise to new court practice and theoretical interpretations, which we follow and develop further in protecting the best interest of our clients.

Although the accession of Bulgaria to the European Union in 2007 has already boosted domestic real estate prices, the later still remain lower than in most other European Countries. As a whole, Bulgarian real estate market offers many opportunities for attractive acquisitions and high profits.
