Areas of Law Description
Sutton Law Center provides legal assistance on the following areas of practice:
- Business Planning
Every entrepreneur needs a business plan because it is a tool for meeting objectives and achieving long term goals. A business plan defines how you plan to stay in business, generally breaking down the plan into sections that include a business description, financial plan, staffing, management plan, and marketing plan. It provides a step by step guide by which you can measure your progress, compete with other companies, promote your company, and devise an effective budget.
- Establish Business Credit
Raising money for a new venture, extending credit for an existing business, and providing cash flow for daily operations often require establishing business credit. Without a line of credit, many entrepreneurs cannot buy the necessary time to get their business off the ground or keep an existing business afloat. Learning how to establish strong credit is a valuable tool for building a thriving business.
- Contract Review
Having a lawyer review and explain your obligations before signing a contract cuts through the legal jargon and can save you from future headaches and controversy. Contract law is its own very specific legal area. There are different types of contracts, certain clauses that bind or restrict business operation, along with ways contracts can be written that may not be to your advantage.
