    The Allen County Indiana Bar Association has a long tradition of service to its members and the community. Organized in 1890 and incorporated in 1959, the ACBA has three purposes: to assist in the due administration of justice, to promote the continued education of lawyers and laypeople in the fields of law and legal procedure, and to maintain the honor and integrity of the legal profession.

    On April 22, 1911, five Evansville attorneys filed the Articles of Association with the Indiana Secretary of State that incorporated the Evansville Bar Association. This was the formalization of a group of like-minded practitioners that had been meeting together since 1894. Our founders had three stated goals: The study and development of law as a science. The elevation of the standing and dignity of the profession. The establishment of a law library.

    The Morgan County Bar Association (MCBA) is an affiliation of attorneys who work and/or live within the Morgan County, Indiana area. The Association currently serves two main functions: To allow Legal Practitioners in the Morgan County area an efficient means of communication concerning the issues and problems surrounding the Practice of law within Morgan County. Bettering the practice of law within Morgan County, and by that, enhancing the quality and value of legal services to both the residents of Morgan County and others who have need of legal serviced within the county.
