The Bar Association of Seychelles ("BAS") is an association registered under the Registration of Associations Act 1959. It was founded in 1988 by members of the Seychelles Bar. The key objects of the BAS are to represent and promote the interest and welfare of the members of the Association and to disseminate and encourage the dissemination of information on legal subjects. The BAS does not regulate or discipline members of the Bar.
