    NCRA is committed to being the leader in advancing the profession of those who capture and integrate the spoken word into a comprehensive and accurate information base for the benefit of the public and private sectors.
    National Verbatim Reporters Association
    Only national professional organization dedicated to the practice of voice writing, offering support and benefits to its members. The NVRA offers several levels of membership. Court reporters using either voice or stenographic methods may become general members of NVRA.
    United States Court Reporters Association - USCRA
    The United States Court Reporters Association is the national representative for the federal court reporting profession. The Association is committed to promoting and maintaining the highest standards of verbatim reporting, quality services, professional ethics, fidelity to the ideals of the judicial system, and advocating continuing education as well as the utilization of state-of-the-art technologies.

    Washington Court Reporters Association
    The mission of the Washington Court Reporters Association is to promote the profession of court reporting. It is the objective of this professional association to maintain a membership base composed of court reporters, Communication Access Realtime Translators (CART), and captioners whose values are consistent with the ethical standards promulgated by the NCRA Code of Professional Ethics. WCRA represents its members in the state legislature on issues impacting court reporting, CART, and captioning.
