We offer the ability to post a link to your Google Places listing in your HG.org Premium listing. Google places is an effective marketing tool for law firms seeking to promote their services. (Please visit Google Places for Attorneys for more information about this very useful feature.)

*Please Note - Your Google Places listing must be owner verified and the website URL must match the website URL in your HG.org Premium listing.

Where your Google Places links appear in your Premium listing

Two links to your Google Places listing will appear in your Premium listing. The first one appears below the Google Map in your HG.org Premium listing, when it has been clicked on.

The second link is in the Social Networks and Place Pages section near the bottom of your listing, beneath the More Information section.

To take advantage of this valuable new feature, please follow these step-by-step instructions.

Locating your Google Places Page ID Number

1. Go to your Google Places Page on Google Maps.
   
   
2. On your Google Places Page, click on "Link" above the map on the right.
   
   
   
   
3. A box will open, which displays your Google Places Page link. copy the ID number within the link. The ID number follows "cid=" and ends immediately before the "&" symbol (when present - if there is no "&" symbol, simply use the whole number after "cid=")

4. Make note of this ID number to link to your HG.org Premium listing.

Linking your Google Places Page to your Premium listing

1. Sign into your HG.org account.
   
   
2. In Account Management, click on the Update your Listing link under "Manage your Account".
   
   
3. On the Listing Management page, select the yellow pen icon next to your Main Office.
   
   
4. In your Listing Form, scroll down to "Your Google Place" in the Links to your Website section, directly below your Social Networking Links fields. Paste your Google Places Page ID in the field. (Example: 2221161217272119390)
   
   
   
   
5. Click once on the Save this Form button at the bottom of your Listing Form and your Premium listing will be updated with your Google Places Page links.
