One of the most effective ways to reach out to potential clients is through video postings. Videos are appealing and immediately attract attention. This service is free for our Premium listing subscribers and includes unlimited updates and submissions.

*Please note that the video(s) you are uploading to HG.org must have appeared on YouTube first. If the video does not have a YouTube URL it cannot be added.

In addition to appearing within the subscriber's Premium listing, videos are displayed in a featured section on the HG.org home page, selected randomly,


and in a section dedicated to all subscriber videos - See Law Firm Videos.



A. How to Post a Video Within Your Premium Listing

Sign in to your HG.org account with your username and password.

    1. In Account Management, click on the Update your Listing link under "Manage your Account."

    2. In your Listing Management, click on the yellow pen icon next to your main office. It will open a Listing Form.

    3. In the Listing Form scroll down to the "Your Video" section.

      Type the ID of your YouTube video or copy the URL of your YouTube video in the applicable field.

    4. Scroll down to the bottom of the Listing Form and click on the Save this Form button.

    5. To view your video in your Premium Listing:

      - Click on the View your Premium Listing link in your Account Management.


B. How to Submit Multiple Videos and Create a List of Your Videos

Sign into your HG.org account with your username and password.

  1. In Account Management click on the Submit/Update your Videos link under "Promote your Firm."






  2. On the Video Management page, click on the Submit a Video button.

  3. On the Video Posting page, enter your YouTube video ID or YouTube video URL into the applicable field. Create and enter a relevant title for your video and paste the transcript of your video into the text box. Although inclusion of a transcript is optional, it will help your video page appear higher in search engine results and help visitors understand the information you are presenting.













  4. Click on the Save this Video button to upload your video into your newly created list of videos. (Example of multiple videos linked to a Premium listing.)



    You may add as many videos as you want.









    Each time you upload a video, it will automatically be added to your list of videos, which is linked to your Premium Listing.








  5. You can update your videos at any time from your Video Management page by clicking on the applicable icons:

  6. To view the video(s) in your list:

    - Click on Back to your Account.

    - On your Account Management page, click on the View your Premium Listing link under "Preview your Listing."



    Your video(s) will be displayed with your Premium listing under Law Firm Videos; and can be viewed by clicking on this link.

By submitting a video, you acknowledge that you have full ownership and copyright of the work and you agree that HG.org and HGExperts.com may feature it on their Websites, as long as you are provided with proper credit.

Submission of a video doesn't guarantee its publication, and submitted transcripts may be edited when necessary.

Your YouTube Link

Videos are increasingly becoming a necessity for professionals of all types on the internet. If you have a YouTube page for your law firm videos, you may add this page link to your Premium listing. For information on setting up your YouTube video page, visit Getting Started.

Your YouTube link will appear in the Social Networks and Place Pages section, near the bottom of your listing, beneath the More Information section. When applicable, links to your firm's Facebook Page, Twitter Account, LinkedIn Account and/or Google+ Local profile appear in this section as well.



Adding Your YouTube Link in Your Listing Form

  1. Sign in to your HG.org account.

  2. In Account Management, click on the Update your Listing link under "Manage your Account".

  3. On the Listing Management page, select the yellow pen icon next to your Main Office.

  4. In your Listing Form, scroll down to the Links to your Website section. The YouTube link is Link 15, beneath the Social Network Page Links:



  5. After entering the URL's for your YouTube page, click once on the Save this Form button at the bottom of your Listing Form and your Premium listing will be updated with your new link.

By submitting a listing to HG.org you confirm that you are authorizing HG.org to publish your information and that you own the copyright of the text, logos and pictures posted on HG.org and on your own website.
