Los Angeles office seeks attorney having 5-7 years of experience. The candidate must have trained and currently be working in the risk management and insurance coverage area. Should have experience with analysis of insurance policies used in the RE and construction industries, including commercial general liability, excess and umbrella liability, professional liability, builder's risk and permanent property insurance policies in addition to experience with the negotiation and implementation of wrap-up insurance policies (OCIPs and CCIPs), including preparation of wrap-up insurance exhibits to design and construction contracts, and experience with asserting insurance coverage claims against insurers. Must have knowledge of contractual risk transfer provisions, including indemnity provisions and insurance requirements. Experience in drafting and enforcing risk management and risk transfer provisions in RE and construction documents such as consumer sales agreements, CC&Rs, leases and design and construction contracts would be a plus.
The corporate law office is located in Metairie, Louisiana. Other offices are based in Louisiana and Mississippi. The firm was formed in 1994. Area of specialization is civil defense law. Practice areas are significant. A number of their practice disciplines include appellate, banking, civil rights actions, complex casualty litigation, construction litigation and consumer defense. Sixteen knowledgeable attorneys comprise Ungarino and Eckert. Diversity in the labor force is supported at the law practice.
